huffandpuff
I do not know the answer to your question as they have no made a statement yet. But I will say that if you declare Pass/Fail for a course, there is no way for Ottawa to know you got >70%. That's the whole point of pass/fail, you either pass or fail. jgdiff
my friend contacted them about this a few days ago! they said: "As COVID-19 has made rapid and unexpected changes to our lives, including the winter academic session, we are currently monitoring the situation closely. We will be revising our policies as needed. For the time being, we are recommending all candidates and potential candidates to continue to adhere to our current eligibility criteria. More information to follow in the coming weeks and months." so i guess there's no confirmation on whether it's for sure "alright" or not yet :/ but i would hope that they would be more lenient given everything that's going on and allow a P for prerequisites this semester? huffandpuff
That answer is found in the university's general corona FAQ here: https://www.uottawa.ca/coronavirus/en/faq It may or may not apply to the faculty of medicine, as the answers around it clearly pertain to undergraduate program admissions. QCStudent7
I wrote to them (admissMD) concerning this and they said it didn't apply to the faculty of medicine, unfortunately.

QCStudent7
On 4/19/2020 at 3:26 PM, OnePoundFish said: @QCStudent7 did they say they will be reviewing their policies or did they confirm that regardless of COVID19, they will continue with their current pass/fail rule? Neither, they gave me the same "More information to follow in the coming weeks and months." OnePoundFish
