Golzar88
Hi guys! I am a student studying at a Canadian school and it occurred to me that I may be able to attend an American medical school. My father is a Canadian citizen so I believe I would be eligible for a dual citizenship. If so would this make it easier for me to get accepted to an american school? I also don't come from a super wealthy family so would I be able to get a student loan in america? My main concern over studying across the boarder would be the challenge of coming home to practice in canada.
blah1234
I'm confused. Why would you want to attend an American Medical School if you are already studying at a Canadian medical school. What advantage would it give you if you are looking to practice in Canada.
Golzar88
It is extremely competitive to get accepted into a canadian school. The competition is much greater than america.

bearded frog
If you are an American citizen or PR you have a lot more options for American schools, and it will be cheaper for others.
