HopefulMD786
Just got my MCAT score back and it was a 508 128/126/126/128 im pleased with all sections except for bio, I was averaging 128+ so I kinda choked a bit here. with that being said, I’ve already submitted my UBC app and I am IP. 92.3% OGPA & good ECS imo. I understand MCAT isn’t evaluated till after interview but is it essentially hopeless with an MCAT this low?
Rosiglitazone
I'd say a solid chance if interview goes well. I think you can definitely bag an interview with those stats. Best of luck!
MadSchool
I am on the same boat. I have a 510 MCAT. Last year I got interview but didn't get offer. My interview was below average so I knew i had to put more efforts on interview instead. I guess you can wait till next year and see how your interview goes. if it is above average and no offer I guess it is time to try to improve MCAT. Just my two cents, could be wrong. You have a great average, so you'd have no problem being invited to the interview, especially as you are IP. Don't lose hope! A 508 is a doable score, so there's no reason to be hopeless. Prepare well for your interview and I think you will have a decent chance should everything else go well. Also, try to get the best reference letters you can possibly get from those who know you well enough -- some people underestimate the value and importance of LORs. Best of luck, my friend.
