Kanye East
Hello! I moved to New Brunswick with my family just over a year ago. I am however looking to apply to Dalhousie (and other medical schools) this year. I'm an older applicant and have been out of university (grad school) for a few years now. Over the past year, I haven't been able to volunteer as much as I'd like to for as I was still adjusting to moving with my family (new kid and everything), working, as well as the previous COVID-restrictions. I am wondering now if this would affect my supplemental application. Though I have several volunteer experiences accumulated, nearly all of it were in outside provinces. Does Dalhousie look at this negatively, even if you would be considered IP for the upcoming cycle?

Lots of NB students do their undergrad in a different province for example, and accumulate their experiences there. It has not impacted anyone to date as far as I can understand. The way the supplemental is presented to the reviewers wouldn’t even allow that to be considered from my understanding.
