Guest power2005
Hey everyone. I need some advice... I am a 3rd year BSc Honours in Biology student at StFX. I haven't written the DAT, but am doing so in February. My average from last year was 87(gpa 3.97) and so far after midterms, my average this year is above 85. I would like to get into dentistry asap,...although I do want an X ring..., but I don't know how many people without degrees get accepted and if not writing the DAT until February will hurt my chances. I need some advice... Thanks, Greg
Guest gettingin
How do you figure a 87 % average is a 3.97 GPA...are you not using the 4 point scale????
Guest johnwoo19
a 3.97 GPA is more like a 93% average
Guest power2005
Dal uses the 4.3 scale. Last year I had 2 90+s...most 85-89's and 3 between 80-84...hence 2 above 4.0 and 3 below it meant 3.97.
Guest johnwoo19
Oh sorry power2005, I thought you were using the 4.0 scale.
