NOSM Waitlist 2023

Recommended Posts

In taking a look at some previous years' threads, there has traditionally been a good amount of movement off the waitlist. Unsure about last year, however (may have been relatively low last year). Every year is different though, and we just have to keep our fingers crossed and wait for the time being. Most movement may happen after the weekend and even right before acceptance responses are due (which I suppose would be or around the 23rd).

Does anyone know if offers will only be made during business hours (ie 8-4)? Maybe I can stop checking email every 5 seconds in the evening hahahaha

I have no idea. I would imagine they are more likely to be sent during business hours, however. I am totally not refreshing my email on my phone and checking my junk folder every 5 seconds haha.

What is the earliest possible date to hear about an acceptance off the waitlist?

I believe the letter said rolling offers, so you could hear anytime really. However from looking at previous threads it looks like the most movement typically happens next week as individuals have until May 23rd to accept.

I wonder how many people typically come off the waitlist the week after initial offers are released. Fingers crossed for the both of us!

After 5 years of hard work (4 years applying) I was offered admission today. I have accepted this offer.

My best advice to all of you applying is to never give up; even when you want to. Strive to be a better version of yourself every day and you will one day get to where you want to be. Little steps go a long way.

Cheers!

Congrats! You should be proud of yourself! What time did you receive an offer?
