TopChef
Hello guys, i wanted to know if you knew someone who matched in a competitive specialty with a low Casper score (I didn’t do great). I know it depends on the university and program. But i wanted to know how big of a factor it can be compared to CV/Grades/ Rotations/LOR and interviews? Thanks and good luck to everyone! Bambi
I never had CASPer for my residency. The purpose is to determine certain competencies of applicants and logic dictates, the results will be an important factor in considering the relative competitiveness of interviewees. Good luck! Every program will consider it in their own way. Some may weight it more than other factors, some may not consider it at all. No way to know. Jaysean124
If I were to guess, probably more so as a screening tool than anything else. Your LORs and MSPR etc I think would carry a ton more weight TopChef
