jupiter22
Posting on behalf of my friend: My friend is in a unique situation where she applied for restricted license in Ontario and finished her residency very recently. She is currently not holding any CPSO license. She is trying to apply for a mat leave under OMA. The criteria says applicants must: Quote Be licensed to practice medicine in Ontario by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO) at least 26 weeks before the start date of their pregnancy or parental leave, or Have completed residency in Ontario within that same 26-week period. Now based on those criteria I feel my friend should be eligible to apply. Does anyone have an idea or in similar situation applied for it? Thank you. bearded frog
I assume she didn't do residency in Ontario? Why would you think she would be eligible? The program is paid based on your previous year's OHIP billings so she wouldn't get anything anyway...
