Guest satsumargirl
Can anyone tell me if Ottawa only accepts CPR certification from St. John's Ambulance. In the calendar it specifies St. John's Basic Rescuer. We are about to get our recertification through our hospital and it isn't with St. John's Ambulance. Although it would be equivalent...I don't know if Ottawa is sticky about CPR if it's not from St. John's Ambulance. Trying to decide if I should bail the hospital recert and do it on my own. Did anyone start meds at Ottawa with non- St John's Ambulance CPR? Thanks Sats
Guest niloo8448
I didn't even have mine... they offer a course in the fall and you can take it then. Half the people don't have CPR before they start med school. Your best bet is to call the admissions office and ask them any specific questions that you have. niloo
Guest misersizer
Did you have to pay for the CPR training offered for the med students after school started, or was it the same cost as it would have been through St-John's if, lets say, I took it before school? THanks
