No honours degree

I was wondering if it is even possible to get into U of A this year if you haven't done a honours degree since it is worth so many points and there likely would be a large portion of candidates who have done an honours.

<pagetext>Here's a little scenario that's been bugging me today. I'm hoping somebody can shed some light on it.

 

I'm in the 4th year/graduated student applicant pool but I'm taking 3* of English this semester to complete the English pre-req requirement. I'm under the impression that if I'm lucky enough to get an interview, it'll be during Reading week. Now if that all that goes well, is it possible that I could be in the early admission category (notified in late March/early April) without them having my final pre-req grade? Or would they wait until the end of the semester when my grade is up to make a decision?

 

There's a lot of "ifs" but I'm just curious.
