They wont even let me move my exam time so that I can go for northwestern's 2nd look. such retards.

these are the things i hate about uoft. they really dunt give a **** about their undergrads.

 

 

like the only ****ing thing stopping me from just not going for the exam is that the exam is worth like 45 and i dont havea 55/55 ...

 

so annoying damn it.

and i cant take it later. cuz its unfair to the rest of the class.

and they can even take 10 marks off my final grade anyway if they feel like it. gosh. i shudda told them that. but that wudda just been too cocky.

Rach, I sent a message to you on another thread "applying to American schools". I am a Canadian from Ontario on a D-1 scholarship playing golf in the US finishing my sophomore year with a 4.0 GPA. Rather than repeat my post to you maybe you can look at my post on the other thread and respond. Essentially I'm interested in knowing how the athletics played out in the applications/interviews in the US and Canada also how the schools viewed an undergrad degree by a Canadian from a US school? did it help/hurt or make no difference in either country?. I see you got accepted to a number of schools congrats. I'm applying to Canadian schools after this year for admission after 3 years and to American schools after third year for admission after 4th year. Writing my MCAT's this summer.

Ahhh, I still haven't decided... are you going?? I'm pretty decided that I'm going to Jeff (I joined the FB group today hahaha), so I'm not sure if it's necessary...but I do want to meet people and see the school again...? But then again...there's always orientation week to meet people...

 

I'm also not sure if I'll go. At this point I'm really torn between UK, IU, and Jefferson and I won't be able to return to IU or UK before making a decision. I'm thinking if I go back to Jeff, I'll be tempted to pick it b/c I'll know more about it and not b/c I actually like it more than the others (sounds like stupid logic I know). Flights from Toronto are pretty cheap so I might go. Any idea when the deadline is to RSVP for the second look?

I have never been to UK or IU, but I can definitely say that Jeff is a solid school. Why won't you be able to return before making a decision? Perhaps start one of those UK vs. IU vs Jeff threads on SDN and see what feedback you get? It might help you out.

 

I'm pretty sure we will still be able to RSVP at least a week before. I doubt they're going to turn anyone away from second look.

Just goes to show you that you can't apply based solely on numbers in previous years (except to a few like Wayne, Rosalind, and SLU).

 

Absolutely no love from AECOM (2 last year), Case Western is again not-that-friendly, NYU had a big drop (3 to 1)...
