Summer School

I just have a quick question. I heard that McMaster does take summer school marks into their GPA calculations. Is this true? I know that every other school does not take summer school marks.

They do indeed take every course that you take in University into consideration when calculating GPA. I thought I would be cool and take Organic Chem in the summer, but I did crappy cause of all the sun and women and ended up screwing myself. My sister, however, who is very dedicated and focussed managed to rock it. If you do decide to do the summer school thing, WORK HARD!

So they do not drop a year or have a special formula??

No special formula--every grade counts. However, remember that the same thing is true for everyone, and I would guess that most people have at least one or two grades they're not thrilled with on their transcript.
