If there is no longitude ridge shown on the design, which orientations are the ends?

For this Nov's carving section, I noticed there is no longitude ridge shown on the carving design paper.

 

Then, how are we suppose to know which orientation does the end have to be? All the pratices exams that I have done shows the longitude ridge on the design sheet, but the real exam doesn't.
