What I want to know is how people were able to browse at 8:45? It wouldnt let me on until 8:57-ish?

Exactly. AAMC should take off the error message if indeed the technical problem has been solved so we don't get any false hopes.

 

Despite the semi-nice web interface of the website, I'm sick and tired of looking at it....

Weird how they have 4 sites in Hamilton, 4 in Kitchener, but only one in Ottawa - how does that work?

Got a spot on the 13th of July. Too early for me I think, but at least it offers a bit of relief in case I can't get any other time.

I too have been trying to get into Ottawa. However, all the seats for August are gone. The only seats I could get before was June 15th as the latest, but I was able to see a July 13th spot open in Ottawa today so I just signed up for that. The July 13th date for me is a little early but it seems like that would be the only date I would get. blast!

Not many Manitobans must go on this forum. I know of one other Manitoban on this forum who was successful in registering and yet..."No Seats Available" is what I keep seeing.

i got a ticket for Aug 14th, 12pm.

 

Would have preferred Aug 20th or a bit later and i was almost dumb enough to forfeit the spot and hope for another.... but i stuck with it. oh well, thank God, it wasnt any worse.

good luck to you. dont forget, theres lots of Ottawa sites (as in 3 i think). so check them all. at first i thought there was one and didnt bother looking through the whole page. check it out.

I live in Toronto, so obviously Toronto and Missassauga are my first choice. What I should really do is email AAMC so I can be enlightened as to why there is only ONE test site in Toronto.

hey etoile, i just thought it was really funny that I just got congratualted for getting a SEAT to write the MCAT

 

AAMC just loves putting hurdles for us. good luck finding a spot. its pretty much luck, like everyone says.

I'm beginning to lose hope that it is just luck. I haven't been able to receive an "Available Seats" message for the Manitoba sites in Aug/Sept for two days. I have been able to find "Available Seats" In Ottawa though, but I don't want to write it there. Maybe the system is really working fine...
