thami
hey all, my friend is considering going to counseling services at brock hall here and had a few concerns about whether or not the fact he went to counseling would "surface" later on when he applied to post grad programs, and if it would be looked badly upon. personally i don't think it'd matter (i'm sure the service is confidential?). has anyone here gone there before? if so, what were your experiences with them? physiology
Going to counselling at Brock Hall would have no effect on your future. Those sessions would be held in strictest confidence and are obviously confidential. Confidentiality could only be breached if there was evidence of wanting to hurt oneself or others (and in the case of minors, abuse).
