Hey guys,

I was just wondering if you knew any good websites/books/documentaries etc. that explains health care systems around the world. Something that explains the US system, the british, the french etc. in simple every day english would be great. (I don't want some complicated journal article that would be too tiresome/difficult to read) Hopefully your materials compare and contrast the various healthcare systems.

Thanks so much :),

have you heard of THE INTERNET?

It's got some things there... up on the top shelf....

There's a ton to be found by googling different topics. I found a pdf from the Conference Board of Canada on Healthcare in Leading Countries, as well as some other more in-depth information packages on countries like Switzerland, Germany, France, Sweden, etc...

Which particular Health Care System's do you want to know about the most?

I thought I still had a file that outlined the 5 major ones nicely, but I can't find it...

Here's a link to the main differences --->> http://www.pnrec.org/2001papers/DaigneaultLajoie.pdf

if your like me graph's aren't too useful, so here's more of an interpretation of the differences --->>

Canada vs. US - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Canadian_and_American_health_care_systems_compared

EU Systems - http://www.aerztekammer.at/aistrip/ak-website/EUSTUDPPT/98091.htm

If you want specific health care systems, just google them, its the most efficient way - even cut and paste to make your own notes
