scitwin
I hope I didnt miss this in another thread ... but my transcripts were sent in over a month ago, but none of my prereq courses are up yet on the site --- is this the same for anyone else?? or should I be calling the admissions office? Thanks.
Paulhammer
Another thread mentioned that since the admissions office has to input your transcripts manually, it can take time for them to get them all entered. I think it also mentioned this on the U of A site, in the disclaimer after you login to the application. I may be mistaken but i think Nov 30th was mentioned as the day that they should all be up by. I'd let it ride for a while - the admissions office is busy enough without having to deal with extraneous questions.
mandolin
My transcripts are still being processed.
tmimm
still no pre-reqs posted for me...anyone else have the same "problem"? should I give them a call?
Jamer
Mine aren't there and neither are those of 4 other friends I know who have applied. Don't worry.
Jamer
My girlfriends pre-req scores are up as of Friday so they should be arriving soon. I checked my beartracks and it says "application incomplete - action required" and when I click it tells me I need to submit my DAT scores by some date in January. lolz u of a fail. Steve-0
It still says "No Courses Found" in my prereqs section. Is this the case for anybody else or should I be contacting the admission office? Thanks
Jamer
Same with me. I'm just saying the ball is rolling.
zztop
Mine are up. I checked after reading this... Does UofC do a similar verification of course grades?
meme me
Are they listed on beartracks? ... or somewhere else?
Steve-0
I am assuming people are talking about the section of the application (which can still be accessed as it was when you were filling it out). It says prerequisite courses.... and then if you're me it says "No Courses Found"
winnipegguy
I'm guessing it's not a huge deal if they're not up yet. Mine still says "Courses Not Found", but it says they received my transcript. Also, I'm OOP which is evident from my username.
zztop
Yeah, its not a big deal. I'm a UofA Student so they prolly do ours first (or mebbe its even automated cause the courses don't need to be converted)
Jochi1543
I don't have any grades up, either.

zztop
84 is a 3.4? Wow, that's a kinda harsh conversion we have here.
jimmy
my half year courses were weighted as 0, instead of 0.5. did anyone else get this.
jimmy
hi tmimm, what school are you from? i had an 81 and i got 3.7 for it.
Jochi1543
hi tmimm, what school are you from? i had an 81 and i got 3.7 for it. You also have to remember, each percentage grade is converted separately. So an overall 81 may turn into different GPAs depending on what each individual percentage grade is. medhopeful123456
my half year courses were weighted as 0, instead of 0.5. did anyone else get this. Yea, my half courses were also. I assume that the ".5" gets cut off.
zztop
OH YEAH, This is how we do it! (I have way too much time between exams) I wish I had these marks... What that about the 0.5 weighting system? Isn't that for the U of C application?

RaVen777
Hey there, I got my pre-req scores today as well. I have a slight concern. My school goes up to 4.3 on the scale, therefore I will have several 4.3's count as 4.0. somebody here said that 4.0 is an A or an A+ at UofA anyways, myt CGPA my undergrad uni CGPA is 3.9 , but 3.82 at UofA. that makes sense, but I'm a little intrigued by the fact that they "drop" your lowest year. My first year gpa was 3.46 followed by 3.85. All the semesters after that have been either 4.0 or High 3.8-3.9. I would think that my CGPA would be higher? anyways, i'm not trying to be an ass, but I was wondering when they apply that course drop. I'm OOP btw, so this could make a big difference!
