Essay?

I'm applying to Western, Queen's and Ottawa. The OMSAS application hasn't asked me to fill out any essay or question yet. This is contrary to what I've been hearing for a few years now. Have they changed the form or will they ask me to write some sort of essay as a supplemental AFTER they process my application?

only toronto requires you to write an essa, and queen's has an essay question that you have to do during the interview
