CO-OP

Hi, I am in highschool and I was given the chance to take Co-op, but I would have to take 5 years in highschool (I am in the double cohort). I could be placed in a hospital like Mount Sinai, St.Mikes, etc. One semester in a hospital would be beneficial, but is it wise?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

its not worth it. break out of high school as soon as you can. one co-op placement will just give u one thing to put on ur resume, but look at the sacrifice. volunteering is the same as co-op.

The co-op placement I had in high school led to a 5 year part-time job in the health field where I gained alot of experience before going onto meds. So it can be a very valuable experience.
