Living at home

How many UofT Med students currently live with their parents and commute >30 mins each way to/from school? I understand that this is an individualistic thing that's influenced by many factors (e.g. economic), but I was just wondering how usual/unusual this is.

And for those of you who decided to move near the campus, how hard was it to find housing in June once you got accepted? Is getting into residence still possible once it gets that late?

I commute b/w 1 - 1.5 hrs each way per day depending on the traffic. There are a lot of people that do tend to commute to school.
