J'ai appliqué à l'université McGill en médecine et je me demandais est ce qu'il y a la possiblité de demander de passer l'entrevue en français !!?

Oui, bien sûr tu peux. Mais par contre, je ne sais pas quand on pourra choisir dans quelle langue on veut la passer.

Exactly. A ridiculous double standard. If you can study 4 years in english, then you should be able to manage a 30 minute interview in english.

Not to mention that English is probably the easiest language in the world. In any case, yes you can chose to do the interview in French.

but I think it would sink you if you dared try to interview in English at the French speaking med schools...this should be our heaviest problem in life, lol

 

it really should be no big deal for the powers that be to allow us to interview in the language in which we are most comfortable, but life does not work like that...c'est la vie!

I grew up learning French so it's not that big of a problem for me. Especially when I have a heavy Quebecois accent. Over the phone they'd never guess French is my 3rd language lol.

Interviews are done in English or French. They are held on different days.
