Guest PeterHill0501
...Sorry about being completely anal...but has anybody from Ottawa actually received a waitlist letter different than the one I posted which stated "due to your position on the waitlist you are unlikely to get an offer..."? I wonder if two waitlist letters actually went out? Peter
Guest jules
me... I'm more or less happy about that since I am competing for a spot in the French programme. Basically, it tells you that you may receive an offer by phone or a letter whenever the waiting list moves (when an accepted applicant decline his/her offer). It's not good, not bad... and it's signed by the tired hand of Mr. Hebert!
Guest bananagirl
I also got the "good" letter today (very thin white envelope); it is basically the same as the "bad" one with the deletion of the sentance that mentions the unlikelihood of coming off the waitlist. Actually I shouldn't refer to it as good as it was more neutral. Did anyone receive a waitlist letter that said something more positive (ie. that they were likely to receive an offer?) Thank you!
