Wow. Let's hope none of those "failures" did anything drastic in the meantime . . . .

ahhh oops - I mean they could have set up a practice, had patients etc.

 

I wonder now what happens if one of those patients sues etc. Your insurance depends on you actually being licensed after all :)

Even when you pass, you can't get your independent licence until July 1st. So they wouldn't have seen any patients yet. But they might have applied for privileges, leased office space, hired secretaries, etc. and could be out a lot of money.

 

Ahhh well that is good from the patients point of view of course but still yeah the cost outlay could be huge. Plus they wouldn't have been studying for a rewrite either so now there is lag that way as well - nasty!
