Can you apply to American DO schools after you begin medschool in the carribean?

 

Anyone have any experience with this or know someone who did it?

Well, you can apply and see what happens. You can probably also email the AACOM on their stance on caribbean students trying get into a DO school. They are generally pretty chill about these sort of things.. Just be truthful as to why you want to switch. Although you can *probably* apply to DO schools without telling them about your prior caribbean career, it's not like the DO schools have a system where they check for their student's prior status in the Caribbean (ie, if you don't tell them, they'll never know).. although if somehow they did find out, it probably would not bode well...
