Thank goodness some of that darkness has lifted. Practicing medicine is worlds away from what I thought it would be- but in some ways so much better. It's an honor to be so intricately involved with people's lives. I couldn't think of a more rewarding profession. I wish you all luck- if you need anything...just give a shout out. You seem like an amazing person and just as fluent in your writing skills. You are able to take such abstract feelings and emotions and have the reader experience what you felt through a concise list. Well done!! You should think about writing a book!
