Good radiology resources?

I was wondering if anyone has any good resources: websites/books/etc that have an array of radiology examples, including dicom images?

ACR Case in Point is a very educational resource, but definitely radiology resident-level IMO..

You don't need to buy any radiology specific books at this point except a couple of really good anatomy books. Anatomy is absolutely the foundation of radiology. Knowing all of the most obscure signs in the world means nothing if you can't even recognize normal anatomy.

Good beginner resources. learningradiology and radiology masterclass have some very good tutorials.

There are lots of free dicom viewers but no series to study from.

If you just want to scroll through normal images, e-anatomy lets you look at images for free (paid site provides labels). There is also the site in the post above for all things neuro.

its easy enough to follow the colon on the abdo CT on that website. following collapsed bowel is difficult in dicom images as well - you get a conglomerate of loops all piled together and its difficult to decipher each individual bowel loop.

 

try the app "radiology 2.0" free in the app store and go through cases of bowel obstruction. distended small bowel loops are follow-able.

Although you can get HQ images with a subscription, I find the free version not bad at all. You're probably having trouble running the bowel because of the lack of oral contrast.
