yvette
hi all, i know the minimum MCAT score to apply is 7 in all areas. and the average score for the 4 yrs are PS11/VR10/BS11. i will be taking my MCAT soon, and im just not doing so well in verbal, the most likely score i will get is 8 i think. does everyone who apply has above 10 in verbal? is there chance for people with 7-8 verbal score making it?? penguin92
if you're IP than it might be possible. No harm in trying. Plus, you don't actually know you'll get an 8 in VR. You could luck it and end up with 10+
jyl
I agree that you should just try, especially since you don't know what you will end up with. I was getting alot of 8's in VR when practicing for the MCAT and somehow got an 11 on the actual thing.

12345c
U of A looks at composite MCAT score: For example, A 10 BS, 14 VR, and 10PS (34) is the same as 14BS, 7VR, and 13PS (34). So, try to get your sciences as high as possible.
hamham
I'm OOP, and I interviewed and was accepted with 9 in VR. So it's totally possible for IP to be accepted with 7-8 in VR, as long as the total score is high. Good luck for your MCAT!
