Type Of Nserc To Do?

Hi I read some persons post on which type of NSERC to do and I was wondering this:

Would med schools look down on me if I do an NSERC and create a review article instead of doing  a wet lab? 

I want to write the mcat next summer but doing a wet lab will take too much of my time= less study time.But the review article will not.

However wet lab= more skills/experience. I don't know which to do.

 

Any suggestions?

NSERC is a granting body. Are you asking what kind of research to do? Would your review article be published? If your question is "Should I spend a year writing a reivew article or working in a lab?" Than it would depend on your other experience and what the potential outcomes of each are, either publication, or reccomendation letter, or unique experience/skill, etc.
