X's Showing Up In Application?

Just had a look at my application and noticed this...anyone have the same issue? I've already submitted (well before the due date).

Were they checkmarks before you submitted your application?
If yes, then it's probably just a malfunction on UofA's end. If not, then you bunged up. 

I would email them anyway to make sure everything is okay.

All good now somehow haha. Guess it was a glitch on their end.

Yep, they were - not even sure you can submit if they aren't checkmarks...

I can see how something like that would make a person nervous.

 

I just checked mine and it's still okay (not unlike everyone reading the thread no doubt), but when I applied last year there was a bit of a glitch where all of my ECs got duplicated on the page somehow. It was before the submission date and I just logged off and then logged back in the next day and then it was normal again.

Just saw my cGPA on my application form today by login into Alberta application account (not Bear tracks). 

Hope to get interview invite soon.

Are they giving out interview invites earlier this year since the deadline for application was moved up a month?

Harvey, it sounds like interview invites are still going out at the same time. Last year, I got my invite just after Family Day.

My cGPA is up as well! Does this mean our pre-req courses were successfully transferrable?

I would think so. They probably would have marked you as ineligible if they weren't transferable, so I'm guessing that you've made it through the next hoop.  It's always exciting to see progress.

Wow. They got to your app early. It must have been the first one they looked at. 

 

I just checked Beartracks and it still shows a yellow triangle with "pending review" as the status. I'll be happy when that changes too.

I don't think you need to worry about this too much, beartracks is a little bit odd. I read some people that stayed a yellow triangle (and were accepted) who had that status until May 15th

I agree. I find it is hit and miss with when/how Beartracks is updated.

 

I won't mind at all if the yellow triangle stays and I get an acceptance on May 15th. ????
