B3.572A
I am interested in this event. Can you tell us briefly what kind of activities this event entails? Is the format mostly talks from physicians/current MD students? Thanks!
StarStrike
I'm interested as well - can you provide us with more information? Thanks!
AUBCMed
The format for this year will be a brief intro to medical school and the application process to bring everyone up to speed (30 min), a set of workshops designed to get applicants from many walks of life thinking critically about the application process (1 hr, run by current MD students with groups of five attendees), hour for lunch with more MD students attending to answer questions one-on-one, one hour of more detailed talks from admissions, finance and student support, final hour with talks from the associate deans of professionalism and admissions (both MDs). We still have space left in Vancouver and Prince George, more spots can be arranged for Victoria and Kelowna if there's enough interest. Current applicants attending in the past have also found the event useful.

SkepticalStudent
What an amazing event. Thank you so much. Highly recommend it to anyone interested next year! Can't say enough good things about the event. Totally second this. I couldn't stay for Dr. Parhar's talk, but judging from how the rest of the day went I'm sure it was amazing. Thanks AUBCMed (and Ellie) for organising it this year!
