dttran
So if you had a GPA that was the mean, it would reflect as 100 as a score. Can someone who has a 4.0 GPA confirm what score they received? Thanks

divinecomedy
Note: I was OOP. Perhaps the standardized value was higher for IP if the pools were separated. I don't know how Calgary evaluates the pools. Seems like they don't have a separate pool for OOP vs IP. They are compared within the same pool, just that OOP has a higher threshold to land an interview. (See link below) http://www.ucalgary.ca/mdprogram/files/mdprogram/reference-stats-2014.pdf On page 4: "These scores show the distribution of scores for each component of the application for the entire pool of applicants – both successful and unsuccessful. It presents the scores for Albertans and NonAlbertans together, since although the GPA and VR eligibility criteria are higher for non-Albertans, all applicants are compared to each other in determining scores for interview offers, etc."
