Snowmen
An observership won't help you with CARMS since you wouldn't have any chance (or very little) to show your clinical abilities which are what matters. You need to directly contact the university to set-up an elective where you will actually have clinical responsabilities and a chance to show your know-how. JohnGrisham
Honestly better off getting some US electives and focusing your energies on a FM program in rural U.S. Unless you did very well on MCCEE and NAC OSCE, or are a well-trained physician in your own country, the odds are super low - given the condition of no electives in Canada. bkbk
Just wanted to tell IMGs who are applying for canada! I matched to my first choice in ontario! It's hard but possible. Never lose hope and trust in your abilities.
