LFOHarmonics
Hey guys,So I am going to be finishing off my OMSAS app... And Queens is one of the three Ontario schools I am applying to.So I graduated back in June 2015Now, my ABS section has essentially 9 things on it....- Child Youth Volunteering (During last semester of school) - Adolescent Youth Volunteering (Going on for a year now, continuing so it'll be 2 years by next summer) - Campus Mental Health Advocacy Club Member/VP - Honour's Research Project/ISU in Biology Education - Working at a local thrift store (going on a year now)- Music Production/Visual Art (released music on collectives, also planning on artwork for collective compilations. Got the Collective founder to be my verifier )- Hospital Volunteering (solid year during grade 12, then each summer during uni) - Physician Shadowing - BSc (the formal education option, so making this a total of 9)Now... My GPA falls within their usual cut off (I will have, according their 2yr GPA, around a 3.86).MCAT wise I am solid. 515 (129 Physics, 130 CARS, 128 Bio, 128 Psych)I don't know the "usual" amount of items on the ABS, and yes I understand the quality > quantity... Still though, I feel like I am short.I am applying regardless, but I'd appreciate some thoughts.EDIT Oh yea, also. Ont. IP
m_jacob_45
Your activities from university look good. If you have more things from high school, I would add them in. You have listed only one activity in grade 12, but if you have other things, definitely add them (i.e. were you on any sports steams, involved in student government, do you play any instruments, etc). Did you do anything that you could add in your summers between grade 10/11 and 11/12. Also, there is a section for awards.

I def have things from my grade 11 and 12 year I can add. Most of these are music related, is it ok I split them up? As in, I would have one entry for playing bass clarinet in our school band, another entry for singing in our motown band, another entry for singing in our barbershhop chorus.... They're all music, but different activities.

Damisa
Hi Bambi - so I was wondering how many activities you think would be below acceptable or competitive? Any insight you had would be great :-)
