NewtoCalg
Hi everyone, I am moving to Calgary this week for school and am super excited! I have been inquiring about parking and found out that student passes are no longer being sold to students. I was wondering if any students, new or current, are renting out their parking stalls in Foothills Village. It would be super appreciated! Looking forward to meeting everyone
freewheeler
You will probably have better luck inquiring about that in the FB group. Another option is to park at Lot 201 ($131.25/mo incl. tax) found at this link: https://westpark.com/locations.php?page_id=13 It's about a brisk 10 minute walk or a more leisurely 15 minute walk from that parking lot to the med school. There's also the McMahon stadium parking lot which is cheaper--offered through the University of Calgary, but is more like 15-20 minutes away I think. McMahon is almost exactly 15 minutes from closing your car door to arriving at Libin :-D And it's cheap! ($52/mo). I've parked there for a year now and it's really not bad - if anything the walk to your car gives you a good way to clear your head and forces you to get outside and move around a bit every day :-)
