2017m
Hello! Has anyone been accepted to NOSM in the last few years who lives within an hour of a major city? Any semi-rural nosm students out there? Just curious thanks!
BalkanRelations
I'm curious about this as well. When applying to Manitoba medical school, they defined a rural area as anywhere with a population of under 40,000. The city I live in does qualify for this, but it is still within an hour of downtown Toronto - so I wonder if applying to NOSM is even worth it for me. Huntsville is 2.5 hours away from Toronto and I believe it is considered rural by nosm's standards. As far as being approx. 1 hour away from a major city, I have no clue... would love to know if any semi-rural students received an interview.
