LloydRedStan
Hi! I'll be applying this upcoming cycle to McGill for the first time. With these ECs and a 3.93 GPA would I be competitive? - 2 years of involvement with literacy organization + 1 year of being a team lead - 3 years working in university residences as a son and other positions - 2 Publications (one 1st author, one 2nd) - founding a club on campus (but this one will be very new by the time I apply as the process begins in the fall) - some retail and research jobs and volunteering here and there. I will be IP. Thanks for the feedback.
Neji3
I think you have a very good chance of landing an interview as long as you do well on the CASPer test. Your GPA is high/competitive for IP and nowadays the CV is only worth 10% pre-interview. I suggest you practice for the CASPer as much as possible to ensure you're ranked high pre-interview. After that, it's basically 80% interview skills.

t0ny
Scan over the past "Accepted/Rejected/Waitlist" threads and you will be able to assess where you stand. Also, there is no downside to apply so if ever you think you have a sliver of a shot, just apply.
