When UofA asks verifiers to confirm "total Verifiable hours", do they tell the verifier what we put down and ask them confirm it, or do they ask the verifier to input a number on their own?

If it's the latter, I need to contact my verifiers to let them know the total hours I calculated and input.

I think it's former as I was a verifier in the past but it's been a while. 

As for total hours calculated you should always do that for your verifiers so you two are in agreement well ahead of time.

Yeah exactly - tell your verifier exactly what they are supposed to verify. No surprises
