Neuroresearch
Hey guys! Quick question for y’all (sorry if it’s been answered elsewhere): I’ve received an offer to Mac and been waitlisted at two other schools. I have to accept/decline Mac by the 26th. Will waitlist offers go out before that or after in a second wave? Just trying to figure out whether to just go ahead and accept it if I should wait until the 26th to formally accept. Thanks!! Mac is the only school I know of that does rolling waitlist aka they will move their waitlist within the 2 weeks. I havent heard of any other school that does this. You could wait the 2 weeks and accept on the last day just in case but I dont think you will hear from the other schools so soon Neuroresearch
bearded frog
there will be movement everywhere after the 2 week deadline as people who waited till the end to choose comit, and spots open up. I don't actually know if places start offering off waitlist if people decline before that, as schools may give more offers than spots, and expect a certain percentage to not matriculate, although who knows what mac is doing this year. You can be accepted off the waitlist fair into the summer, as two week offers are made and people decline, or rarely people withdrawing or deferring.
