Doing a bachelors before going into medicine?

Hi, I was wondering if med students who got admitted after doing a bachelors (or more) are advantaged for the residency match compared to the students who got in after CEGEP because they have more research/better CV.

No, absolutely not! Cegepiens make excellent physicians and are not disadvantaged in any. In fact, I have an undergraduate degree with a good bsckground that prepared me for medicine, and I found my Cegepien colleagues were learning at an amazing pace. Admittedly, it is tougher, but everybody gets to the same place by time of graduation.
