IT Band Tenodesis Performed but a Meniscus Repair Physiotherapy Protocol Prescribed?

Recommended Posts

Has anyone ever worked with a patient who received an IT Band Tenodesis surgery done to tighten their current intact ACL? No new ACL, No ACL Revision. Only an IT Band Tenodesis to tighten and align their current ACL. Did it solve their pain & problems? What was their physiotherapy protocol like? Their surgeon recommended a meniscus repair physiotherapy protocol even though there was no meniscus repair done. Is that normal?

Following cause this sounds so interesting! I'd be interesting in hearing more...Was their ACL deemed to be too lax or something? And what were their signs/symptoms leading up to this? If you don't mind sharing :)
