CMG failed the MCCQE1

Anyone else in a similar boat, or studying for the MCCEQ1? IMG or CMG!

Would love to connect and form a bit of a group...

Also thinking about purchasing the prep materials this time around

Also if anyone was in a similar boat previously and had advice that'd be great too.

In all honesty, I pretty much winged it and regretting it now, but yikes the pass rates for 2nd time takers do not look the best

Where is the 2nd time taker pass rate published? I wouldn't be too disheartened if you did well in medical school but failed because you put zero effort into it and you had a borderline result, I suspect that many who don't pass and continue to not pass have some underlying reason.

It's in the MCCQE technical reports (https://mcc.ca/about/publications/#search-form).  

In 2019, the first-time pass rate was 97% (outside of April almost no takers) and the repeat pass rate was about 70-80% (eyeballing and pooling data) which suggests there's a good chance to pass on a repeat - much higher than for a first-time IMG.
