Woahwoahwoahidk
I was looking through the Dalhousie medicine application scoring section and it seems to heavily favour the supplemental / essay and the interviews - with most of the weight of an applicants score coming from these sections. I am curious if people know if scholarships, and strictly work (not volunteer experience) contribute heavily to an applicants supplemental score? I don’t have much by way of volunteer experience, especially not recently (pandemic and all); however, I have been working full time in a healthcare field for about a year. Just curious if people from healthcare backgrounds have found their experience in healthcare have improved their application? I am looking to apply for the 2022/2023 cycle so I do have some time to pick up extra volunteer experience but coupled with MCAT studying and full time work it still won’t be too much. Thanks all!
