Looking for Medical Student Panelists

Hey folks,

On behalf of Mapping Roads to Medicine (MR2M), a non-profit national initiative for guiding and supporting those intrigued by medicine, we are planning to host our third Q&A panel event where several year 1-4 medical student panelists from different programs interact with individuals thinking of studying medicine. With MR2M, our mission is to foster a community for premeds and facilitate genuine and lifelong mentorship in collaboration with a network of Canadian medical students, clinicians, and physicians. From the perspective of medical students, our Q&A panel events aim to educate and demystify the field for premeds. With the great and positive feedback we've received to date, we are inspired to organize our third event to benefit aspiring doctors.

We are currently looking for enthusiastic year 1-4 medical students from varied programs who are keen to act as panelists for the event (duration 1.5 - 2 hrs, date TBA but likely end of March) and contribute to answering questions regarding their background/path to medicine, their experiences to date, what the field entails, and more.

Please note that MR2M is completely not-for-profit. There are no monetary/financial benefits for neither organizers nor panelists. Furthermore, this initiative is not funded nor supported by any sort of individual/third-party. Everything resulting from MR2M is on a volunteering-basis and passion for helping others through mentorship.
