Chowchilla
Just when I thought I had everything figured out ... The OMSAS application states: Each year that you apply, you must contact MCAT and request that scores be released to OMSAS. The deadline for the 2007 application cycle is October 13, 2006. OMSAS does not keep scores on file from previous applications. The Ontario medical schools require full disclosure of all MCAT score results. how the heck do i submit it on october 13 when the aamc website clearly states that scores will not be available before october 14? in the hot zone
You should have received your own personalized AAMC number when you took the MCAT. With this information, you can allow OMSAS to access your MCAT scores through the AAMC website once the scores become available. Therefore, OMSAS should be able to retrieve your scores directly from AAMC whenever they wish to do so.
Kirsteen
Hi there, As mentioned above, MCAT score relase should not pose a problem at all as long as you forward the pertinent information to both institutions. As long as you do, it's then OMSAS' responsibility to ensure that the information is retrieved from the AAMC. It's one of the more efficient processes associated with submitting an OMSAS application. Cheers, Kirsteen
