My stats are: going onto 4th year at UofT GPA: 3.84 MCAT: PS14,VR10,BS12,R (36R) EC: 1 year hospital volunteering, 2 summers doing research, a couple of other community volunteering - both 6~12months, summer working in a kitchen, some traveling. bobo Posted August 15, 2008 Report Share Posted August 15, 2008 Didn't see this thread before but I'll post Rising 4th year at U.S undergrad 37 MCAT, 3.7 GPA Rejections so far: Indiana, Vanderbilt, UChicago Interviews so far: Georgetown, Eastern Virginia Medical School, UTMB Galveston I think I've been humbled by this process. I expected interviews at UChicago and Vandy with my numbers. But they aren't everything. Let's see what happens. Weird thing is UChicago and Vandy had relatively high international student interview invite rates last year. Georgetown on the other hand, invited 17 int'ls to interview out of 500 last year. I really want to go to Chicago or Northwestern (My bro lives in Chicago) so If I get into either of those I will go to them over any school in Ontario save Toronto. I knew I wasn't getting an interview because many others who were complete at the same time were getting interviews on SDN. I thought I'd just be put on hold, but oh well.
