supporting docs

I was wondering -- Does anyone know how strict the Oct 15 deadline is for supporting documentation?

 

I don't know if my referees will be able to send in my reference letters on time; I also don't think my transcript will reach them on time :S

I actually asked them that question the other day and they said that since students have no control of the release of supporting docs, then they will accept them after that Oct 15 deadline. They did suggest that students follow closely to see that they are received in a timely manner as soon as possible to complete their applications.

Maybe I'm blind or really overlooking a section...but where can I find the link that shows what supporting documentation I need? I've looked and can't find it :-S

quick qn.....i have already printed out the reference form and gien it to my referee to write on them. However, I havent filled out that section. Can i still submit my applcn without filling ot reference section?? I dont understand how they can ask the qn "in what capacity do u know the student"....isnt it supposed to be confidential?

In the reference section you simply tell the ad com who your references are and how you know them. The letter of reference written by your referrer is what is confidential and is to be sent directly to the ad com – i.e. you never get to see the letter.

Ok, so one of my references forgot about the letter and is now out of town. I will be able to express post/fed-ex the letter on Friday Oct. 17th...am I screwed?
