Just out of curiosity... universities such as UWO and UofT refund you your installments in full in the event that you get into another school last minute right? (just not the first 1000$ they ask for to hold spot if am correct). Thanks in advance!

Nope, these are non-refundable installments.

When is the tuition due for those who got into UofT dentistry?

Well, I am not sure how U of T works but for Western, the payment we have to make by August 17th is not considered a second deposit - we are paying 80% of our tuition. So if you pay this first installment, and then you decide to drop your spot by September 1st (or something like that), you will get all your money back. The later you drop your spot, the less money you get back (like it starts at 100%, then goes to 90%, 85% for example). But ya, I think the $1000 you won't get back.

If you go to this link: http://www.registrar.uwo.ca/FinancialServices/Fees.cfm you can find the refund schedule from last year (under Undergraduates Full Time: Table 2). Dentistry would be the 2nd column (2nd entry professional programs).
