Hey, Im an IMG about to go on electives this summer in Canada (general internal med, cardio, gastro, critical care, endocrine). I know that many US students on the wards use Pocket medicine the mass gen handbook of internal medicine. What do Canadian students recommend while on the wards in Canada?

I really loved this book too.. All the meds and doses are based on canadian practice! And the content is precise and very useful. Good luck

This is the one. Get this. FAR better than the sucky MGH one whose editors feel as if they do not have to improve it based on the fact that it comes from MGH and is therefore the pinnacle of medical instruction.
