scrwed up in my first u1

Hi everyone

 

I am new to this forum. I've always wanted to get into medicine; however in first university year, I screwed up big [a 2.00 average]. Since then, I left school, and then got back trying as much as I can to fix my GPA. From what I was told the med schools usually look into my last 2 or 3 years of undergrad. And if that true can I still have a chance to get into McGill. [At that time I was sick and went through a lot of family issues] would ths help in explaining why this happened?

Some med schools look at your best 3 years, but I'm pretty sure McGill looks at the whole thing. You can email them explaining your situation or call them up.
