You could pull a 93% with less than a 3.8 if u wanted to be really technical Good thing i checked this thread so i can stop wasting my time waiting for a UoS email, looks like it aint coming Good luck to everyone with invites! crystelle_007
i think it varies from school to school. Sherrill told me for U of Ottawa A+ 95% A 88% A- 82% B+ 78% B 74% C+ 68% C 64% D+ 58% D 54%
*HopefulMD
If anyone is curious, for UofA they use the conversion: A+ 95% A 93% A- 84%
iicii
that's the one used for my schools too...based on the U of A conversion..seems like they don't think too highly of ontario schools i think it varies from school to school. thatonekid
If anyone is curious, for UofA they use the conversion: A+ 95% A 93% A- 84% Out of curiosity, at UofA (for undergrad) what % grade do you need to get in order to get an A-, A, A+ in your courses? For example, is it like:A+= 90-100% A= 85-89% A-= 80-84%
*HopefulMD
It all depends since the UofA grades on a curve. I've needed 96% to get an A+ before and 92% to get an A but ive also needed 89% to get an A+. An A- is typically 85 in first year courses The top 3-5% of students get A+s in a class and what not

The reason I asked is because I was curious as to why Sask seemed to think that an A at UofA was worth so much %wise. I guess it's because of the different marking scheme. It makes sense. *HopefulMD
I personally don't think it makes sense. I wouldn't say the UofA is more difficult than other schools. Who knows how they got their little Algorithms. (BUT i am happy for it! Haha )
