hey! yes OOP cut-off is usually 93% which is equal to a 4.0 on an OMSAS scale.

You could pull a 93% with less than a 3.8 if u wanted to be really technical :P

Good thing i checked this thread so i can stop wasting my time waiting for a UoS email, looks like it aint coming

Good luck to everyone with invites!

um...my best two years was on the omsas scale was 3.97 and 3.98 and I was invited....I also go to a letter grade school...so I'm not sure why you didn't get an interview...

Rejected as well... top two years on OMSAS scale are 3.98... I think it equated to 92.2 something... That's what I get for going to a school that gives letter grades

that's the one used for my schools too...based on the U of A conversion..seems like they don't think too highly of ontario schools :P

i think it varies from school to school. Sherrill told me for U of Ottawa

A+ 95%

A 88%

A- 82%

B+ 78%

B 74%

C+ 68%

C 64%

D+ 58%

D 54%

It all depends since the UofA grades on a curve. I've needed 96% to get an A+ before and 92% to get an A but ive also needed 89% to get an A+.

An A- is typically 85 in first year courses

The top 3-5% of students get A+s in a class and what not

Oh, I see.

The reason I asked is because I was curious as to why Sask seemed to think that an A at UofA was worth so much %wise. I guess it's because of the different marking scheme. It makes sense.
